Clandon Park Riding Club & Membership is new and is subject to terms & conditions which we reserve the right to vary.
Clandon Park Riding Club is an exclusive equestrian club that already offers it’s limited private membership the opportunity to pre book access to the Earl of Onslow’s Clandon Park Estate including historic Parkland, farms, forests, meadows and lakeside rides. Lord Onslow has recently restored many of Clandon’s private rides & many miles of private tracks, paths & ways across grassland & meadows through this stunning private parkland landscape. Full Members & Guests may book to use the grass SJ schooling arena and arena eventing areas, boarded grass dressage arenas, cross country schooling fences and the right to join the Jumping, Dressage & Event Clinics & the exclusive social events that are organised for members & their guests on Clandon Park, locally & in London
Clandon Park Riding Club is open to adult riders over 18 years of age (children are welcome to attend as a Day Member if accompanied by an adult Day or Full Member) It is a condition that all persons follow the rules laid down for our members however, beyond this, you will have a very exciting time exploring the park, enjoying the new facilities and meeting likeminded equestrians !
Clandon Park is far more than an exclusive riding club, it is a family owned and managed historic parkland environment. It was created in the 17th century by Lord Onslow‘s ancestors and has continued to offer an oasis of calm for centuries being about 30 minutes from London.
The Riding Club at Clandon Park is a private and exclusive members club. All the different types of membership available are subject to strict terms and conditions which we reserve the right to vary from time to time because the Park is privately owned, is a working farming Estate and due to the fact that other private or commercial events may take place on the property. Clandon Park Livery clients may have the benefit of a full membership while their horse or horses are liveried on the park and we have now extended the membership opportunity to a maximum of 50 members whose horses are stabled elsewhere or those who hire a horse from external stables. To become a Full Member we must know of you (or reference from your coach) or the applicant must be nominated by an existing member. Owners or Riders may change their nominated horse several times a year.
We are planning Clinics, Picnic Park Ride, Coaching, Day Courses and social events, usually with internal or visiting specialists in attendance. Some of these will be available to all members at a nominal fee from August 2025. Full Members and Clandon Park Livery Members may invite two guests who pay a guest fee. Day Membership is available for experienced riders. Bookings will soon be available online. A trial visit (£35 per rider) is available through Clandon Park Estate Office on 07711007664.
